My Story

After spending over 20 years in the retail industry followed by another 20 years as a retail consultant, it was time to trade in the frequent flyer miles for new camera equipment. My passion for photography began in my teens when I would spend hours in a hunting blind or fishing boat. I was an outdoors person. But as I grew older, I began carrying a camera instead of a shotgun or rifle. Still today, I think one of the most beautiful sights in nature is watching a duck curl its wings and glide in for a landing.

Living in Florida provides amazing photo opportunities. Magnificent and diverse wildlife and plant life. The furor of Mother Nature with her spectacular lightning shows. The turquoise waters of the Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico. And not to forget the fascinating architecture and world-class sporting events. I have been a Canon user since the early 1980s. I still have my original F-1 film camera. My equipment today includes R5 and R6 mirrorless bodies along with RF and adapted L-series lenses. I use Gitzo tripods with Gitzo heads.
